Privacy Notice
Last updated: 2025-12-18
This notice describes what information is collected and processed when you use the Walzone Browser Tool website, demo UI, and related server endpoints.
What this tool does
The Walzone Browser Tool lets you control a Chrome browser that has the Walzone extension installed. You provide a browser token, and the tool relays commands (navigate, click, extract content, etc.) to that browser.
Information collected on the website
Analytics and basic logs
- Google tag: the landing page loads Google tag scripts (e.g.,
gtag.js) which may set cookies and collect usage data as described by Google. - Page view log: the landing page may record page view events (path, referer, IP address, user agent, timestamp) via
track.phpfor operational/analytics purposes.
Information processed when you use the browser assistant
- Browser token: used to route commands to the correct target browser; stored with queued instructions/responses to operate the service.
- Prompts and tool results: messages you send and the results returned by the browser/extension (URLs, page text/HTML, screenshots, etc.) are processed to fulfill your requests. Some of this data may be stored for troubleshooting (e.g., server logs and conversation state).
- Conversation state: the server may store a conversation transcript keyed by a response/session id to preserve context across requests.
Third-party services
- OpenAI: when you use the hosted demo, your OpenAI API key is sent to our server and used to call OpenAI on your behalf. We do not intentionally store your OpenAI API key.
- CDNs: the demo UI loads some client libraries from third-party CDNs (for example,
cdn.jsdelivr.net).
Cookies and local storage
- Cookies: third-party scripts (such as Google tags) may set cookies.
- Local storage: the demo UI stores configuration in your browser (for example, browser token, selected model, and optional API key persistence) using
localStorage.
Retention
Operational logs and stored conversation state may be retained until manually deleted. If you want data removed, contact us (below) and include any relevant details (approximate time, browser token prefix, or session id).
Security notes
- Keep your browser token private. Anyone with the token may be able to send actions to your target browser.
- Avoid using the tool on pages that contain sensitive personal data unless you understand and accept the data flows described above.
