### Interoperability with Java Libraries

Kotlin was designed with Java interoperability as a primary feature, allowing Java frameworks and libraries to be used seamlessly within Kotlin projects. However, some Java libraries may present challenges when integrating with Kotlin, especially when they use Java-specific language features like ‘static‘ methods or fields.

To address this, one approach is to make use of Kotlin’s ‘@JvmStatic‘ annotation to expose static methods or fields to Kotlin code.
